What is this game?

In Thai Sorcerer Online everyone plays a Thai man in the year 1980 (B.E. 2523). Sign in with Google, create up to five characters, pick a class and start at a hut in the night forest.

Every ghost comes from Thai belief — krasue, krahang, lost souls, pretas and the local spirits of each region. Hunt to level up, take on quests, visit temple fairs, eat grilled pork with sticky rice and ride the train across the country.

The game sets out to share Thai culture and the Dhamma through play: its monks truly keep the precepts and fight with loving-kindness and Dhamma light instead of weapons.

Classes

Everyone plays a man and only picks a class and a name. The class decides the outfit, the weapon and how you fight ghosts.

Hunter

Shaman

Melee

A ghost doctor in white with prayer beads, cutting down evil spirits with an enchanted ritual knife. The toughest class.

Monk

Magic

A Theravada forest monk whose golden Dhamma light drives out evil spirits from afar

Hill Maiden

Fast & versatile

A young woman from Noen Dara on the mountain: twin machetes swung left and right in quick, light cuts, poisoned darts from range, and every herb of the hills. Light on her feet but fragile.

Bear-Built Man

Stamina tank

A young construction worker from Hua Hin with a bodybuilder’s frame: shirtless, a pakama at the waist, a two-handed digging shovel. He fights on stamina, not magic — the toughest in the game, he can choke-lift a ghost off the ground, but a plain weapon barely bites a ghost until a shaman enchants it. Eats a lot, carries the most.
